All dogs deserve to be happy, loved, and cared for until their last breath. The only solution to the lack of consciousness and commitment that leaves thousands of dogs a year in shelters is to educate people of all ages that dogs are family members.

This piece is called "Be our Hero," inspired by dogs currently available for adoption at Born Free Pet Shelter. This piece is mainly dedicated to Golda and all the dogs that spend their lives waiting to be adopted.
Golda arrived at the shelter when she was almost two years old and was adopted eight years later. To only spend a few months with her new family until she crossed the rainbow.
